KOZAK PLÜTONİK KÜTLESİNİN HAVADAN MAĞNETİK ANOMALİLERİNİN MODELLENMESİ

MODELING OF AEROMAGNETIC ANOMALIES OF KOZAK PLUTONIC BODY

Journal Name:

Publication Year:

Abstract (2. Language):
Area is located among the towns of Ayvalık, Bergama, and Burhaniye in the NW Anatolia. The Kozak pluton locating in the studying area is one of the magnetic centres of western Anatolia. In order to determine geometry of the pluton, the boundary analysis, power spectrum and Talwani modeling methods were applied to the aeromagnetic data of the study area. As a result of the power spectrum of the aeromagnetic data, the bottom depth of the deepest magnetic source was found as 10.42±0.56 km. In order to put forward to the existence of the plutonic body, the aeromagnetic data were applied to low pass filter. Low pass filter were applied to the aeromagnetic data after that a profile which has NW-SE direction was taken and modeled by using the depth which obtained from the power spectra. The maxima of the horizontal gradient of the aeromagnetic data show the presence of the Kozak pluton trending NE-SW and its boundary.
