Cupressus arizonica (Cupressaceae), from Atatürk Park in the city Kahramanmaraş
have been investigated. The antimicrobial effects of these plants were tested on the
Enterobacter aerogenes CCM 2531, Mycobacterium smegmatis RUT, Bacillus
megaterium DSM 32, Micrococcus luteus LA 2971, Pseudomonas fluorescens,
Yersinia enterocolitica bacteria with “disc diffusion” method. In these plants,

Abstract (Original Language):
Bu çalışmada, Kahramanmaraş Atatürk Park’ında bulunan Cupressus
sempervirens, Cupressus arizonica (Cupressaceae), Pinus brutia, Pinus nigra
(Pinaceae), Thuja orientalis (Cupressaceae) türlerinin uçucu yağlarının
antimikrobial etkileri araştırıldı. Belirtilen bitkilerin antimikrobial etkisi disk
difüzyon metoduna göre Enterobacter aerogenes CCM 2531, Mycobacterium
smegmatis RUT, Bacillus megaterium DSM 32, Micrococcus luteus LA 2971,
Pseudomonas fluorescens, Yersinia enterocolitica bakterileri üzerinde denendi. Test
edilen türler içerisinde en etkili antimikrobial aktiviteyi Cupressus sempervirens ve
Pinus brutia türleri gösterdi.
