Abstract (2. Language):
Museums play an indispensable part in the preservation and handing down of cultural heritage to new
generations. Building a bridge between the past and the present by putting together objects scattered in time
and place, museums create an effective environment for non-formal education. This study aims to provide
an example of a planned museum tour to describe how information on cultural heritage can be provided to
middle school students through museum education. Adopting an inductive approach, the design for this
study was based on basic qualitative methods. Data was compiled by document analysis, and analyzed
through descriptive analysis methodology.
The example of museum tour plan provided in this study consisted of three stages: pre-tour preparations
including obtaining of permission from relevant authorities for the tour, hiring of shuttle bus, briefing on, and
the preparation of a guide of the museum; activities in the museum setting, including providing students with
information on the history of the artefacts, the opportunity to analyze an artefact they choose, and to make
drawings of that artefact; and post-tour artistic production aiming to have the students produce the artefacts
they have chosen in three-dimensional form.

Kültürel mirasın korunması ve yeni nesillere aktarılmasında müzelerin ayrıcalıklı bir işlevi bulunmaktadır.
Zaman ve mekânda dağınık olarak bulunan nesneleri bir araya getirerek geçmişle bu gün arasında köprü
kuran müzeler, öğrenciye yaşayarak öğrenme olanağı sunması nedeniyle etkili bir okul dışı eğitim
ortamlarıdır. Bu çalışmada, ortaokul öğrencilerine kültürel mirasın müze ile eğitim yoluyla nasıl
aktarılabileceğine yönelik planlı bir müze gezisi örneği hazırlanmıştır. Tümevarımsal bir yaklaşım
benimsendiği için çalışma, temel nitel araştırma yöntemiyle desenlenmiştir. Çalışmanın verileri doküman
incelemesi tekniğiyle toplanmış, verilerin çözümlenmesinde betimsel analiz tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır.
Örnek müze gezisi planlaması; müze gezisi öncesi hazırlıklar, müze ortamındaki etkinlik süreci, müzedeki
inceleme sonrası sanatsal uygulama süreci aşamaları ile açıklanmıştır. Planlamanın müze gezisi öncesi
hazırlıklar aşaması, izin işlemleri, araç temini, müze hakkında bilgilendirme, müze rehberi hazırlamayı
içermiş, müze ortamındaki etkinlik süreci; öğrencilerin müzedeki eserlerle ilgili sanat tarihi bilgisi edinebilme,
seçtikleri bir eseri derinlemesine inceleyebilme ve bu eserin çizimlerini yapmaya ilişkin planlamalarla
açıklanmıştır. Müzedeki inceleme sonrası sanatsal uygulama süreci ise öğrencilere, müzede inceledikleri
eserin üç boyutlu uygulamasını yaptırma şeklinde biçimlendirilmiştir.
