With the developments in technology, the erime has begun to shift tovvards digital environment and such concepts as the cyber erime, advanced technological erime, computer erime have come to forefront. The proliferation of Internet services has gradually led to the distribution and marketing of the materials used in the erime. Recently, the child pornography has been seen as the most important and large scaled erime in terms of cyber erime. In this article, the child pornography which is considered as the greatest violation of the right of the children and also the one bringing about huge damages över the children is evaluated from different aspects and the difficulties to be met and the combating strategies are mentioned in a framevvork involving the different statistics from several countries and some example operations.

Gelişen teknoloji ile birlikte suçlar dijital ortama kaymaya başlamış ve bilişim suçlan, yüksek teknoloji suçlan, bilgisayar suçları gibi kavramlar oluşturulmuştur. İnternetin giderek yaygınlaşması suçları oluşturan materyallerin de kolay bir şekilde dağıtılması ve pazarlanması sonucunu doğurmuştur. Son yıllarda, bilişim suçları bağlamında en önemli ve geniş boyutta gerçekleşen suç olarak çocuk pornografisi görülmektedir. Bu makalede, çocuk haklarının en büyük ihlali olarak telaffuz edilen ve çocuklar üzerinde çok derin yaralar oluşturan çocuk pornografisi suçu, bir çok boyutta ele alınmış olup, değişik devletlerde yapılan istatistikler ve operasyonlar çerçevesinde yaşanan sıkıntılar ve mücadele yöntemleri anlatılmıştır.
