Abstract (2. Language):
The aim of this study is investigate the threats and the hostility towards the football referees. Case study of purposal
sampling and semi-structured interview method is used. Content analysis is performed since the collected data had to be
converted to a theme. Based on the results of this analysis certain themes are created. The descriptive analysis method is also
used. The soccer referees are being subject to threats and hostility from players, coaches and spectators. Lack of
concentration due to these threats affects the performance and motivation of the referees. It is interesting that both players
and the coaches are not well informed on the rules of the game.

Bu çalışmada, futbol hakemlerine yönelik tehdit ve saldırıların araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem olarak amaçlı örnekleme
yönteminden kolay ulaşılabilir durum örneklemesi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada görüşme yöntemi (yarı yapılandırılmış)
kullanılmıştır. Veriler bilgisayar ortamında metin şekline dönüştürülebilmesi için içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Aynı zamanda
betimleme analizi de kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmada, futbol hakemlerinin oyunculardan, antrenörlerden ve seyircilerden
kaynaklanan tehdit ve saldırılara maruz kalmaları sonucu oluşan konsantrasyon eksikliği, performans ve motivasyonun
olumsuz etkilenmesi oyunun yönetimini negatif yönde etkilediği saptanmıştır. Bu tabloya neden olan oyuncu ve antrenörlerin
kuralları yeterince bilmemeleri hem şaşırtıcı hem de düşündürücüdür
