Abstract (2. Language):
In the education of foreign languages in the schools of Turkey, imported books are used as well as the local books. In the preparation of local books, the teaming conditions of students, their interests and needs are considered, whereas the imported ones are prepared regarding a broader range without taking account of the differences between the target groups. However, the imported ones are preferred also in Turkey, as in many other countries, because of lots of reasons such as the printing quality, sales appeal, etc. As well as the debates of the efficiency of using the materials that are student-oriented, that consider the learning conditions of students are ongoing; the localization of imported books or the editions of them differing for countries has come into question, The processes that will be done for this purpose should be carried out according to certain criteria and by experts. Otherwise, there might be some difficulties in preparing the book in regard to helping students giving the predetermined knowledge and skills. In this study, the German lecture and practice book Passwort DetitscfVs first volume of its Turkish edition is analyzed and with the data acquired, the results and suggestions are presented.

Ülkemiz okullarında yabancı dil öğretiminde yerel yabancı dil ders kitaplarının yanı sıra ithal yabancı dil ders kitapları da okutulmaktadır. Yerel yabancı dil ders kitaplarının hazırlanmasında öğrencinin öğrenme koşullan, ilgi ve ihtiyaçlannın dikkate alınmasına karşın, ithal yabancı dil dere kitaplan geniş bir kitleye yönelik hazırlanmakta, hedef gruplar arasındaki farklılıklar göz önünde bulundurulmamaktadır. Buna rağmen albenisi, baskı kalitesi vs. gibi pek çok nedenle birçok ülkede olduğu gibi Türkiye'de de bit kitaplar tercih edilmektedir. Öğrenciye yönelik, öğrencinin öğrenme koşullarının dikkate alındığı malzemelerin verimliliğinin tartışılmasıyla birlikte ithal kitapların yerelleştirilmesi ya da ülkelere göre basılması gündeme gelmiştir. Bu amaçla yapılacak İşlemlerin belirli ölçütlere göre ve uzmanlar tarafından gerçekleştirilmesi gerekmektedir. Aksi halde kitap kurgulanırken öngörülen bilgi ve becerilerin kazandınlması gerçekleştirilemez. Bu çalışmada Passwort Deutsch adlı bir Almanca ders ve alıştırma kitabının birinci cildinin Türkiye baskısı incelenerek elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda sonuç ve öneriler sunulacaktır.
