This study, employing a cross-section gravity model, investigates if the GNP and certain spatial elements such as distance, adjacency, and "being located in the same region" provide meaningful explanation for the debate over regionalization an globalization. Reaching at policy outcomes for the Central Asia is aimed.

Bu çalışma, bir çekim modeli kullanarak uzaklık, sınırdaşlık aynı bölgede yerleşik olma gibi belli mekansal unsurların, bölgeselleşme-küreselleşme tartışmalarına anlamlı bir katkı sağlayıp sağlamadığını araştırmakta; bundan Orta Asya coğrafyası için sonuç çıkarmayı amaçlamaktadır.
