The role of e-commerce i n the global economic development and in the significant alterations that appeared on the way of conducting business has been prominent and well stressed out throughout the decade. New, small and flexible enterprises have been continuously showing up in the market and fully exploit the possibilities of the new economy and e-commerce. While new jobs and opportunities for employment appear, old traditional jobs disappearing. In usually it is already considered there that the e-commerce opportunities is reshaping the whole job market and economic sectors.

Son yıllarda küresel ekonomik gelişmelerde ve iş yapma metodlarında görülen önemli değişimlerde elektronik ticaretin rolü oldukça etkili olmaktadır. Yeni ekonomi ve elektronik ticaretin sağladığı geniş imkanlar sayesinde henüz kurulan, küçük ve esnek şartlara uyum sağlayan firmalar pazarda kendilerini göstermektedirler. Bu esnada yeni iş ve istihdam imkanları ortaya çıkarken geleneksel olan eskileri de yok olmaktadır. Genel olarak elektronik ticaretin sağladığı imkanlar tüm iş piyasasını ve ekonominin bütün sektörlerini yeniden şekillendireceği göz ardı edilmemelidir.
