Publication Year:

Abstract (2. Language):
Supernumerary teeth are described as the teeth present in addition to the normal dentition. Etiology of supernumerary teeth is unknown completely. Supernumerary teeth that occure distally to the third molar are called distomolar. Distomolars are seen less frequently in mandible than in maxilla. They appear more frequently in males than in females and are generally impacted. In this article, five mandibular case reports which are seen rarely and five maxillar distomolar case reports and treatment plannings are presented.
