Abstract (2. Language): 
In the broad literature of international ethics which has already been composed, especially mainstream theories namely, communitarianism and cosmopolitanism which can be classified as ‘modern’, are prominent. In addition, critical, feminist and poststructural/postmodern theoretical approaches can be also seen. This study reflects an attempt of such a general mapping of international ethics and brings up certain views of Zygmunt Bauman’s understanding of ‘postmodern ethics’, even though it does not have a full theoretical perspective. The place of his views in this map is discussed. From this point forth, our study argues that the essential and ontological critiques of Bauman, which are directed to understanding of modern ethics, are concerned specifically with mainstream theories of international ethics, and their ethical claims comes into existence in a moral crisis.

Uluslararası etik’e dair oluşmuş olan geniş literatür içerisinde, özellikle ‘modern’ olarak sınıflandırılabilecek ana akım teoriler olan Toplulukçuluk ve Kozmopolitanizm ön plana çıkmaktadır. Ayrıca, eleştirel, feminist ve postyapısalcı/postmodern teorik yaklaşımlar da görülmektedir. Uluslararası etik’in böyle bir genel haritasının çıkarılmaya çalışıldığı bu çalışmada, tam bir teorik bakış açısı sunmasa da Zygmunt Bauman’ın ‘postmodern etik’ anlayışının alan açısından yeni sayılabilecek bazı görüşleri gündeme getirilmektedir. Söz konusu görüşlerin, çizmeye çalıştığımız haritadaki yerini değerlendirmekteyiz. Bu noktadan hareketle çalışmamız, Bauman’ın modern etik anlayışa getirdiği köklü ve ontolojik eleştirilerin özellikle ana akım uluslararası etik teorileri de muhatap aldığını ve bunların etik iddialarının ahlaki bir kriz içinde var olduğunu iddia etmektedir.
