Abstract (2. Language): 
This article examines the effects of the Syrian civil war on political, social, security and economic fields in Lebanon. In this context, how the historical dimension of the relations between the two countries affected the social and political construction in Lebanon was taken as basis and the dimension in which the effect was achieved with civil war was discussed. The basis of the study is the privileged position that Syria has historically possessed over Lebanon and this position’s discriminator effect on the social and political structure of Lebanon. This study evaluates developments in Lebanon under two main headings: national security and political problems, and refugees and socio-economic problems. The studies conducted on the related literature in the study were also tested with field observations.

Bu makale Suriye iç savaşının Lübnan üzerinde siyasal, toplumsal, güvenlik ve ekonomik alanlarda yarattığı etkiyi incelemektedir. Bu kapsamda iki ülke arasındaki ilişkilerin tarihsel boyutunun Lübnan’daki toplumsal ve siyasal yapıya nasıl tesir ettiği temel alınarak söz konusu tesirin iç savaşla kazandığı boyut tartışılmaktadır. Tartışmanın temelinde Suriye’nin tarihsel olarak Lübnan üzerinde sahip olduğu ayrıcalıklı konum ve bu konumun Lübnan toplumsal ve siyasal yapısı üzerindeki ayrıştırıcı etkisi yer almaktadır. Bu çalışma Lübnan’da yaşanan gelişmeleri ulusal güvenlik ve siyasal sorunlar ile mülteciler ve sosyo-ekonomik problemler olmak üzere iki ana başlık altında ilgili literatürün yanı sıra bu süreçte ülkede yapılan saha gözlemlerine de dayanarak açıklamayı hedeflemektedir.
