There are totally 11 sheets about writing paper of Ġstanbulnâme which is registered at the handwriting department of Çorum Hasan Paşa public library with the number of 2208/1. There are 17 lines in every each of sheets of piece. It is clear that it was written in hijri 1132 (christian era 1719-1720),we can understand it by the date of the end of piece. The piece belongs a poet who uses Rûhî pseudonym. There are not enough information about the poet who has a relation or not with the known poets who use Rûhî pseudonym. The piece, which has 350 verses, shows us mesnevi characteristics according to type of poetry. Ġstanbulnâme was written at the beginning of Lale era which contains 1718-1730 years. That is why, we sould comment it different way from that era. In the piece it is told that about effect of Ġstanbul on poet’s soul, sea and Bosphorus, historical places on the Anatolia and Rumelia side, mansions and residential places. It has sahilnâme characteristic because of this speciality. In the other parts, it is told about the mosques in Ġstanbul. It has dâriyye characteristic because of this speciality. There are also verses which is told entertainments in it. In the declaration, it will be given short informations about either Ġstanbulnâme, or residential places and historical places in piece.

Çorum Hasan Paşa Ġl Halk Kütüphanesinin El Yazmaları Bölümünde 2208/1 numarasıyla kayıtlı olan Ġstanbulnâme’nin yazma nüshası, toplam 11 varaktan oluşmaktadır. Eserin her bir varağında 17 satır bulunmaktadır. Gerek eserin sonuna yazılan tarihten, gerekse eserdeki tarih beytinden anlaşıldığına göre eser, Hicrî 1132 (M.1719-1720) tarihinde yazılmıştır. Eser, Rûhî mahlasını kullanan bir şaire aittir. Bilinen Rûhî mahlaslı şairlerle ilişkisi tespit edilemeyen şairi hakkında elimizde henüz yeterli bilgi mevcut değildir. 350 beyitten oluşan eser, nazım şekli bakımından mesnevi özelliklerini göstermektedir. Ġstanbulnâme, 1718 ile1730 yıllarını kapsayan bir dönemi ifade eden Lale Devri'nin ilk yıllarında yazıldığından, eseri bu dönemden ayrı değerlendirmemek gerekir. Eserde, Ġstanbul'un şair üzerinde bıraktığı etkinin ardından, boğazın ve denizin Anadolu ve Rumeli yakasındaki tarihî yapılardan, yalılardan ve yerleşim yerlerinden bahsedilir. Bu yönüyle bir sâhilnâme özelliği gösterir. Daha sonraki bölümlerde Ġstanbul'daki camilerden bahsedilir. Bu yönüyle de dâriyye özelliği taşımaktadır. Eserde bunların arasında eğlencelerin anlatıldığı beyitler de bulunmaktadır
