Abstract (2. Language):
In this study, scattering of Gaussian beams from an opaque half plane is investigated with the theory of the boundary diffraction wave. Firstly, a vector potential is described at appropriate coordinates by using the Gaussian beams expression. This vector potential is used in the theory of the boundary diffraction wave integral. The transmitted fields through the aperture surface and diffracted fields are calculated. Moreover, diffracted fields from the edge of the opaque half plane are expressed in the form of uniform fields. The obtained field expressions are numerically compared with the incident field (Gaussian beams).
