Abstract (2. Language):
After an earthquake, crush injury can be seen in the lower extremity, as well as it can be seen in other parts of the body. As a result of this type of an injury, compartment syndrome develops. When compartment syndrome exists in lower extremity, it is necessary to do a fasciotomy. The compartments of the lower extremity and the incision sites should be known for an appropriate fasciotomy. Following some simple rules has a great importance for the function of the extremity in the future.
