Abstract (2. Language):
This paper aims to present the effects of high levels of anxiety on learning via reviewing the studies in the literature. These related effects are presented in three main sections as the effects on human body, information processing processes and behavior. In the first section, the results of somatic changes caused by anxiety are seen. In the second section, effects of anxiety on information processing stages such as perception-attention, encoding, processing, storing and recalling are shown. In the last section, changes in behavior with a special focus on procrastination and avoidance are presented.
