Abstract (2. Language):
In mis article the factors that affect the results of dye penetration method are discussed. Dye penetraion is a method of in vitro leakage studies and it is one of the most frequently used methods among the leakage studies endodontics. The most frequently used dye in this method is methylene blue. Dye penetration method and other invitro apical leakage methods are essential to determine the sealing efficiency of root cana! filling materials and filling techniques. However, it is of significance to research the new and more effective methods. Although the in vitro leakage studies are effective in the comparison of root canal filling materials and filling methods, it is of less value in clinical use. Finally the most efficient in vitro leakage method convenient to in vivo conditions should he obtanied.
Abstract (Original Language):
Sonuç olarak in vivo şartlara uygun en etkin in vitro sızıntı metodu saptanmalıdır.
