Abstract (2. Language):
This paper investigates the effects of thermal radiation on transient MHD free convection flow over a vertical surface embedded in a porous medium with periodic temperature. Analytical solutions are obtained for the governing coupled dimensionless partial differential equations of velocity and temperature. The results are discussed with the effects of various dimensionless parameters such as R, radiation; M, magnetic; , porosity and , phase angle for the Prandtl number, Pr = 0.71 which represents air at 20o C and of 1 atmospheric pressure. The re- sults showed sensitive dependence on the parameters. Also, quantitative discussions are presented for the Skin friction and Heat flux.
