Abstract (2. Language):
Aim: The aim of the study is to determine whether research assistants are exposed to mobbing in their universities and to detect demographical features and organizational conditions that are considered to be effective in exposure to mobbing. Method: Total 188 research assistants from three universities participated in the study. Data were provided from the questionnaire that consists of questions to determine research assistants’ demographical features and organizational conditions and from the mobbing scale that was developed to determine whether research assistants are exposed to mobbing. Findings: %49,5 of the participants in this study are women and %50,5 are men. The general average of the mobbing scale is 1,45 and it is seen that research assistants are exposed to mobbing above-average caused by organization. The results obtained from analysis of variance show a significant difference between the status of person mobbing the research assistants, research assistants’ working hours and their faculty and exposing to mobbing at work.
Abstract (Original Language):
Amaç: Araştırma görevlilerinin çalıştıkları üniversitede psikolojik tacize uğrayıp uğramadıklarını tespit etmek ve psikolojik tacize uğramalarında etkili olabileceği düşünülen demografik özellikleri ve örgütsel koşulları saptamaktır. Yöntem: Araştırmaya üç üniversiteden toplam 189 araştırma görevlisi katılmıştır. Veriler, araştırma görevlilerinin demografik özellikleri ve örgütsel koşullarını belirlemeye yönelik sorulardan oluşan bir anket formu ile psikolojik tacize maruz kalıp kalmadıklarını belirlemeye yönelik olarak geliştirilmiş örgütsel yıldırma ölçeğinden elde edilmiştir. Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan araştırma görevlilerinin %49,5’i kadın, %50,5’i erkektir. Örgütsel yıldırma ölçeğinin genel ortalaması 1,45 olup, araştırma görevlilerinin ortalamanın üstünde örgütten kaynaklanan nedenlerle psikolojik tacize maruz kaldıkları görülmektedir. Varyans analizinden elde edilen sonuçlar, araştırma görevlilerini taciz edenin statüsü, araştırma görevlilerinin çalışma süresi ve görevli oldukları fakültenin türü ile psikolojik tacize uğramaları arasında anlamlı bir farklılığın olduğunu göstermektedir.
