İn this study, Costiasis was responsible for high mortality on the culture of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) in Eastern Black Sea Region of Turkey. Different doses of formalin and Chloramine-T were applied on rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) for treatment of infestation. 0,3 mg/1 of formalin was observed as the most effective treatment method in 15+1BC.

Bu çalışmada, Doğu Karadeniz Bölgesindeki gökkuşağı alabalığı (Oncorhynchus mykiss) yetiştiriciliğinde yüksek oranda ölümlere neden olan costiasis enfestasyonunun etkin tedavisi çalışıldı. Bu amaçla gökkuşağı alabalıklarında lârklı dozda formalin ve kloramin-T denemeleri yapıldı. En etkin tedavi 15±l°C'de 0,3 mg/1 dozunda 20 dakika formalin uygulanması ile gerçekleştirildi.
