Abstract (2. Language):
This study examines the historical origins of liberalism. The study gives an brief
explanation of social, political and economical processes which firmly rooted liberalism in
historical view.
First the effects of the economical realities, that is feudalism, the rise of the trade,
the existing of the bourges, merkantilism, discoveries, colonization and industrial
revolution, on social and political condition are studied.
Secondly the effects of social realities like feudalism, church, church-state conflict,
renaissance, on political and economical events in taken up.
Finally the effects of the political events which are regarded as church, bourgeoisie,
the rise of bourges, central states, reformation, American and French revolutions on social
and economical condition is examined.

Bu çalışma liberalizmin tarihsel kökenlerini incelemektedir. Çalışma liberalizmin
üzerine oturduğu sosyal, siyasal ve ekonomik süreçlerin kısa ve genel bir değerlendirmesini
yapmaktadır.
Öncelikli olarak feodalizm, ticaretin gelişmesi, şehirlerin ortaya çıkması,
merkantilizm, keşifler ve sanayi devrimi gibi ekonomik gerçekliklerin sosyal ve siyasal
duruma etkileri incelendi.
İkinci olarak ise, feodalizm, kilise, kilise-devlet çatışması, Rönesans gibi sosyal
olguların ekonomik ve siyasal gelişime etkisi ele alındı.
Son olarak kilise, burjuvazi, kentlerin yükselişi, merkezi krallıkların ortaya çıkışı,
reform, Amerikan ve Fransız devrimleri gibi siyasal olayların sosyal ve ekonomik duruma
etkileri açıklanmıştır.
