Abstract (2. Language):
In this paper, a single balanced feeding circularly polarized planar microstrip antenna array working at 2.2 GHz is designed. Gain, VSWR and axial ratio parameters are compared by taking 0.54l0 and 0.8l0 as the distances between two elements. As result of Laboratory measurements and simulations using the full moment method, half power beam widths of approximately 24o and 22o are obtained. By calculating the radiation losses of both arrays individually, the gains of the arrays are calculated. Bandwidths of approximately 30 and 40 MHz are obtained around the resonant frequencies 2.198 GHz and 2.22 GHz respectively.
