Abstract (2. Language):
Usually, a region is considered as a homogenous territorial unit and the possibility that spatial sub-sets exist in the area considered is not taken into account. Besides, the majority of the case studies refer to a single one of the concepts describing territorial production systems (TPS). Moreover, their relations with endogenous regional development is taken no notice. This study focuses on TPS and their regional development potentials. There are different kinds of TPS in connection with technopole, industrial district, innovative milieu and flexible specialization approachs and also different organisational forms of TPS.
