Abstract (2. Language):
Meckel's diverticulum is the most common congenital anomaly of Gasrointestinal System. This pathologic lesion could lead to intestinal obstruction and bleeding, life threatening and can cause acute abdomen which mandatory laparatomy during childhood, but this lesion rarely found by radiodiagnostic investigations or during laparatomy in adults. It is originated from nonclosure of omphalomesenteric tube between 5-7th intrauterine week. In this case report, rotated and caused intestinal obstruction due to torsion of Meckel's diverticulum was presented and discussed under the light of English literature. ©2008, Firat University, Medical Faculty
Abstract (Original Language):
Meckel divertikül ü mide-bağırsak sisteminin en sık izlenen doğumsal anomalisidir. Çocukluk çağında sıklıkla bağırsak tıkanıklığı ve kanama tablosuyla karşımıza çıkan, yaşamı tehdit edici komplikasyonlara neden olabilen ve bazen akut karın nedeniyle ameliyat edilen bir patoloji iken, erişkinlerde nadir olarak radyolojik görüntüleme veya laparatomi sırasında saptanabilmektedir. Omfalomezenterik kanalın intrauterin 5-7. haftada kapanmaması sonucunda oluşmaktadır. Bu makalemizde meckel divertikülünün kendi ekseni etrafında dönerek ince barsakta torsiyon oluşturması neticesinde ileusa neden olmuş bir meckel divertikülü olgusu literatür bilgileri eşliğinde sunulmak istendi.©2008, Fırat Üniversitesi, Tıp Fakültesi
