EŞARÎ’NİN TEOLOJİK GÖRÜŞLERİ.

Al-Ash’arî is one of the most important Muslim theologians. His theology is the beginning of Sunnite philosophical theology. He developed opinions about the divine attributes. The eternal attributes of God are neither himself nor other than himself. This is a paradoxical expression. He held acquisition or kasb about the human actions notifying that God is the creator of human actions and what humans do is but to acquire them. He is in the opinion that God has sent prophets and has given them miracles. Eschatological matters must be taken literally and not be explained as metaphors. To him action is not a part of belief. And he also put forward some political thoughts theologically.
