The purpose of this study is to examine current developments and new perspectives at issue, with the scope of social entrepreneurship concept. In this regard, the summary table which was prepared by Weerawardena and Mort (2006), concerning social entrepreneurship literature, has been developed until 2012. In compliance with the subject, the four outline has been examined in order to offer a compact information source to the researchers that could be needed to provide convenience for the future studies.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, son zamanlarda yoğun bir biçimde irdelenen sosyal girişimcilik literatüründeki güncel gelişmeleri ve sosyal girişimcilik kavramı çerçevesinde tartışılan yeni bakış açılarını incelemektir. Bu bağlamda, Weerawardena ve Mort’un (2006) hazırladıkları ve 2002 yılına kadar inceledikleri sosyal girişimcilik literatürü özet tablosu geliştirilerek, 2012 yılına kadar getirilmiştir. Konuyla ilgili tablo çerçevesinde incelenen dört ana hat (çalışmaların amacı, alanları, anahtar boyutları ve tanımları) çerçevesinde, araştırmacılara ihtiyaç duydukları temel bilgilerin kompakt bir biçimde sunulması ile araştırmacılara kolaylık sağlanması hedeflenmiştir.
