Abstract (2. Language):
SUMMARY A Case who has granülomatous lymphadenopaty which mimicked malignanl lymphoma: Cat serateh disease in differential diagnosis. Cat serateh disease mainly affects clıildren and yo~ ung adults İn whom usually presents as a bening, self Hmited lymphadenopathy. Bartonella henselae is the primary agent of this disease and is diagnosed on the basis of scrological teeh-nique and direct identification by PCR from lymph node tissuc. Occasionally systemic symptoms and jeneralize lymphadenopathy oecur and the disease may simulate malignant lymphoma. It is presented a case vvho has splcnic hipodens lesions and cervical and intraabdo-minal lymphadenopathy which mimİck malign lymphoma. Cat serateh disease is considered by excisionel biopsy of lymph node, showing specific anti-body of Bartonella henselae and rcsolvrng of ali the lesions vvithout treatment. This disease should be considered in child and young adult patients with regional and generalise lymphadenopathy and unnecessary invasive procedure should be avoİded.
