Abstract (2. Language):
Kleist was one of the most radical representatives of the new genious period in
German literature. Reading Der Findling as continuation of Das Erdbeben in Chili
it will be evident that these texts will demonstrate not only the extinction of all
nuclear families, crucial point of the genious ideology, but also the failure of its
substitution in form of adoptive family.
