The cariosiaiic effect of the most widely used topical fluoride solutions in clinics such as NaF, APF and SnF? has been evaluated in vitro when applied to enamel directly or prelreated with DCPD solution. The results of the research has demonstrated that İn all of the DCPD prelreated groups, both values of either the total fluoride uptake of enamel and the amount of closely bound fluoride incorporated enamel were higher than the control surfaces. The differences were statistically significant.

Klinik olarak en çok kullanılan yüzeyel fluorür çözeltilerinden NaF, APF ve SnF2ün mineye DCPD çözeltisi ile ön uygulamalı olarak ya da doğrudan uygulanmasının etkinlikleri in vitro olarak araşünldı. Araştırmanın sonucunda, DCPD çözeltisi ile Ön uygulama yapılmış tüm gruplarda, hem minede tutulan fluorür oranının hem de apalilik yapıya katılmış mineye sıkı bağlı fluorür oramnın kontrol yüzeylerden istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı olarak arttığı gösterildi.
