This orticle describes different kinds of techniques for interim obturator prosthesis applied within 3-4 months following maxillectomy operation. The results demostra-ted the emphasize on use of interim obturator prosthesis.

Bu çalışmada maksillektomi operasyonları sonrası meydana gelen defektin epitelizasyonu tamamlanana kadar sürecek olan 3-4 ay boyunca hastaya uygulanan tedavi obturator protezlerinin çeşitlerive yapım tekniği hakkında bilgi verildi. Bu teknikle hazırlanmış tedavi obtüratörleri-nin 7 vaka üzerinde uveulaması eösterildi Maksillektomi sonrası hazırlanan tedavi obtüratörlerinin önemi bu çalışma ile bir kez daha vurgulandı.
