EPİDERMAL BÜYÜME FAKTÖRÜ RESEPTÖRÜNÜN (EGFR) AĞIZ BOŞLUĞUNDA GÖRÜLEN EPİDERMOİD KARSİNOM VE ODONTOJEN KİST EPİTELİNDE İMMUNOHİSTOKİMYASAL YÖNTEMLE ARAŞTIRILMASI

Abstract (2. Language):
In this research, the patients who were applied to dental Faculty of İstanbul University, Department of Oral Surgery were evaluated and 40 cases who were diagnosed as epidermoid carcinoma, heratocyst, follicular and radicular cysts following the clinical, radiological andpaOtological examination were histochemicalty investigated according to the presence of Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR). The EGFR presence was observed in epidermoid carcinoma and keratocyst (% 90), follicular ( % 60), radicular (% 50) cysts respectively. Based on the above results, we would like to emphasize that EGFR has a characteristic of epithelial malignancy.
