Abstract (2. Language):
The recent developments in business life have lead social scientists to re-define organizations independent from their physical location. The new trend is focusing on the activities of the organizations and tends to define the organizations through networks; connecting people, organizations and societies. That is why the virtual organizations offer great opportunities for independent organizations and individuals to bring together the core competencies, resources and special knowledge without sharing the same physical location by utilizing the computer networks. In the virtual organizations, the organizational structure is adaptive, responsive, innovative, customer oriented and highly flexible. For these reasons, they have important competitive advantages against traditional organizations.
