Abstract (2. Language):
The purpose of this article is to discuss al-Fârâbî's ontological argument for the existence of God and to analyze it in (he case of al-Fârâbî. In addition to that, this paper tries to show the origin or origins of the argument, its development in the history of philosophy referring to the modern interpretations of il. In the paper an effort is also made to put forward the place of the argument in the tradition of Islamic philosophy.

Bu makalenin amacı, Fârâbî'nin Tanrı kanıtlamasında kullanmış olduğu ontolojik kamtı ele almak ve bu kanıtın Fârâbî Örneğinde bir tahlilini sunmaktır. Bu yapılırken makalede aynı zamanda ontolojik kanıtın kaynaklarına, tarihî gelişimine ve modern yorumlarına yer verilmekte; ayrıca İslâm felsefe geleneği içerisindeki yeri gösterilmeye çalışılmaktadır.
