Abstract (2. Language):
The message of peace and toleration between humanity is as an important fundamental characteristic of religious discourse as the message of final salvation and truth. Almost all religions therefore stress peace and love. However, throughout history it is known that the culture of conflict and variety has often been effective in religious communities. The conflict has usually been shaped as strife dispute between orthodoxy and heresy. Although some religious arguments and claims have been used by both sides to justify the conflict between them, it is obvious that the main reason was sociopolitical rather than religious.

İnsanlar arasındaki barış ve hoşgörü mesajı, dinsel söylemin nihai kurtuluş ve hakikat mesajı kadar Önemli olan asli bir karakteristiğidir. Bu nedenle hemen hemen bütün dinler barış, esenlik ve sevgiye vurgu yaparlar. Bununla birlikte, tarih boyu çatışma ve ayrılık kültürünün dini topluluklarda sıklıkla etkili olduğu da bilinmektedir. Çatışma, genellikle ortodoksi ile heresi arasındaki şiddetli bir mücadele biçiminde şekillenmektedir. Bazı dinsel tartışma ve iddiaların, her iki tarafça da aralarındaki çatışmayı meşru bir zemine oturtmak amacıyla kullanılmasına rağmen, çaüşmadaki asıl nedenin dinsel olmaktan ziyade sosyo-politik olduğu açıktır.
