Abstract (2. Language):
Social mobility is one of the phenomenons which should be taken into account in social change researches. Immigration from rural to urban, changes in the structure of occupations, in education rates and generally the changes of institutional sstructures are the factors affecting social mobility. The changes occurring in economi, political and physical characterisstics of social sstructure cause the horizontal and vertical mobility.

Sosyal hareketlilik, sosyal değişme araştırmalarında dikkate alınması gereken olgulardan birisidir. Köyden kente göç, meslek yapısındaki ve eğitim oranındaki değişmeler ve genel olarak kurumsal yapı değişmeleri, sosyal hareketliliği etkileyen unsurlardır. Sosyal yapının ekonomik, siyasi ve fiziki yapısındaki değişmeler yatay ve dikey hareketliliğe sebep olmaktadır.
