The role of the journal “Azerbaijan Yurd Bilgisi” (“Learning about Azerbaijan”), which was published in 1932-1934 in Turkey, in the development of the literary relations between Azerbai-jan and Europe is dealt in the article. The founder and the editor-in-chief of the journal was A. Jafaroglu, a great representative of the Azerbaijan literary criticism of migration, a famous world-wide turkologist of the 20th century. Various articles on this subject (most of which were written by A. Jafaroglu) are researched and their importance are shown. The Author comes to the conclusion that the articles published in “Azerbaijan Yurd Bilgisi” have still not lost their importance.
