An Assessment of Energy Sector in the Turkish

Abstract (2. Language):
Energy which economically provides the most important income, is today, as is was in the past, the production factor which mankind emphasized and fought for in order to obtain it. Energy sources on earth have gradually started to run out and the ones still existing have become very valuable. The aim of the study is to look over the energy sector in Turkey and to display findings of different studies in the world and in Turkey according to detailed literature scan. The results obtained, show that gradually in Turkey it gets impossible to cover consume with national production and dependency on foreign import and the price policy which is applied by the industry sector is not suitable. In this context, in order to see Turkey in and to continue the economic growth give the necessary importance to the energy sector, the strategic plan must be realized as soon as possible.

Ekonomik olarak üretimin en önemli girdisini oluşturan enerji, geçmişte olduğu gibi bugün de insanoğlunun önemle üzerinde durduğu ve sahip olabilmek için uğrunda savaştığı bir üretim faktörüdür. Dünyadaki enerji kaynakları yavaş yavaş tükenmeye başlamış ve mevcut olanlar da çok değerli hale gelmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı; mevcut bilgilerin ışığında Türkiye'de enerji sektörünü incelemek ve yapılan detaylı literatür taramasına göre, dünyada ve Türkiye'de enerji sektörü ile ilgili olarak yapılmış değişik çalışmalardan bulgular ortaya koymaktır. Elde edilen sonuçlar, Türkiye'de giderek tüketimi yerli üretimle karşılamanın mümkün olamayacağını ve dışa bağımlılığın artacağını ve sanayi sektöründe uygulanan fiyatlandırma politikasının uygun olmadığını göstermektedir. Bu bağlamda; Türkiye'nin içinde bulunduğu durumu görmek ve ekonomik büyümeyi sürdürebilmek açısından enerji sektörüne gereken önemi vermek ve stratejik planlamaları bir an önce gerçekleştirmek gerekmektedir.
