The purpose ofthis research is to investigate the attilııdes of the students at Buca Faculty of Fdıtcation towards teaching profession. The sample of the research w as composed of 397 students who were studying at fifteen departments of Buca Faculty of Education in the second seme ster of 1995-96 teaching ye ar. The dala was collected by an attitude scale in Liken type developed by the researcher. Af ter the statistical analysis, students' gender and preferences about their departments during the university entrance exams \vere, and their departments and grade levels were not found slatistically significant \vith their attitude scores.

Bu araştırmanın amacı Buca Eğitim Fakültesi öğrenci/erinin öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarını incelemektir. 1995-96 öğretim yılının ikinci yarıyılında Buca Eğitim Fakültesi'nin onbeş bölümünde öğrenim gören 397 öğrenci üzerinde yürütülen çalı ş mada, veriler araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen Liken tipi bir ölçekle toplanmıştı r. Yapı lan istatistiksel analizler, öğrencilerin cinsiyetleri ve öğrenim gördükleri bölümü ÖSYS'deki tercih sırası ile tutum puanları arası ndaki iliş ki anlamlı, öğrenim gördükleri bölüm ve sınıf ile tutum puanlan arasındaki ilişki anlams>z bulunmuştur.
