Abstract (2. Language):
In this study, external cavity laser diode has been modelled and non-linear equations of the system are solved using Volterra series. In the study, linearised laser diode's rate equations are reorganised for external cavity laser diodes and these equations are solved with harmonic input method using Volterra series. The transfer functions brought about for harmonics are obtained using Volterra-Weiner series approach. The stability analysis of system is completed from output to input using these transfer functions. In this study open system transfer function of the laser diode TF = (H1/1-G1) has been obtined. By plotting the Nyquist graph of the transfer function TF, it is show that, the laser diode operates as a current controlled oscillator.
