Abstract (2. Language):
In this study, sequencing batch reactor (SBR) treatment efficiencies were investigated in different reaction times for urban wastewater. Optimum reaction time was obtained and the most suitable reaction constant (k) was found according to experimental study by modelling of SBR. During this study, such as pH, suspended solids, conductivity, turbidity, colour, dissolved oxygen, BOD, COD, total phosphorus (TP) and total nitrogen (TN) parameters were measured to observe treatment efficiencies. As part of this study, treatment efficienies of SBR were observed for five different reaction times in a lab-scaled sequencing batch reactor. Optimum reaction time was obtained 1.5h and the most suitable reaction constant (k) according to experimental data and modelling was found 0.60 h-1 for urban wastewater treatment by SBR.
