Abstract (2. Language): 
Objective: To evaluate the chest roentgenogram and CT findings of 63 patients with pulmonary hydatid disease. Methods: Sixty-three (27 female and 36 male, aged betvveen 3 and 76 years) patients with surgically proven pul¬monary hydatid cysts were inciuded to the study. Chest roentgenogram and thorax CT were obtained from ali the patients. Radiologicai features (number, localization, diameter, intemal architecture) were determined. Results: On CT examination, 107 cysts were determined but on 78 of 107 cysts were detected on chest roentgenogram. Single cysts were seen in 36 patients, while multiple cysts were seen in 27 on CT. Eighteen cysts were larger than 10 cm in diameter. CT scan showed crescent sign (3 patients), water lily sign (9 patients), air-fiuid level (11 pati¬ents), dry cyst sign (8 patients), and homogenous shadow (46 patients). İn addition, atelectasis (n 17), pleural ef-fusion (n 29), and pericystic infiltration (n 38) were also seen on CT. On the other hand, 58 cysts were homoge¬nous and 20 cysts were rüptüred on chest roentgenogram. Conclusion: Although chest roentgenogram is heipful tor diagnosis of pulmonary hydatid disease, CTexamination mustbe done to evaluation nature, number, and local-ization of cysts.

Amaç: Altmışüç pulmoner hidatik kist olgusunu akciğer radyografisi ve bilgisayarlı tomografi (BT) ile değerlendir¬mek. Materyal ve method: Cerrahi olarak ispat edilmiş 63 pulmoner hidatik kistli olgu (27'si kadın, 36'sı erkek) bu çalışmaya dahil edildi. Olgular 3 İle 76 (ort:42.8) yaşları arasında idi. Olguların tümüne akciğer radyografisi ve to-raks BT tetkiki yapıldı. Lezyonlar sayı, lokalizasyon, boyut ve iç yapısı yönünden radyolojik olarak değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Bilgisayarlı tomografide toplam 107 kist mevcut iken akciğer grafilerinde ancak 78 kist tesbit edildi. BT'de 36 olguda tek kist, 27 olguda ise multipl kist bulundu. Onsekiz kist 10 cm'den büyük bulundu, iç yapısı yö¬nünden değerlendirildiğinde; 3'ünde meniskus bulgusu, 9'unda nilüfer işareti, 11'inde hava-sıvı seviyesi, 8'inde boş kist kavitesi ve 76'sında homojen dansite içeren lezyonlar görüldü. Ayrıca BT'de 17'sinde atelektazi, 29'unda plevral sıvı, 38'inde perikistik infiltrasyon görüldü. Akciğer radyografisinde ise 58 kist homojen dansitede olup 20 kist rüptüre idi. Sonuç: Akciğer grafilen kist hidatik tanısında yardımcı olmakla beraber lezyon lokalizasyonunu, sayısını ve İç yapısını değerlendirmek için BT gereklidir.
