Postmenopozal Kanamalı Vakalarda Transvajinal Sonografi, Tanısal Histeroskopi ve Histeroskopi Sonrası Biopsinin Değerlendirilmesi

The Efficacy of Transvaginal Sonography, Diagnostic Hysteroscopy and PosthysteroscopicBiopsy in Patients with Postmenopausal Bleeding

Journal Name:

Abstract (2. Language):
Postmenopausal bleeding is an important issue in that it is commonly seen and can be the symptom of malign pathologies. For the determination of the etiology, there are few modalities including the transvaginal sonography (TVS), diagnostic hysteroscopy (DH) or biopsy after DH. In this study, the value of these methods are investigated. Results for TVS were found as the sensitivity 78,9 %, specificity 88,6 %, positive predictive value (PPV) 76,9 %, negative predictive value (NPV) 89,7 %; and for DH, the sensitivity 90,5 %, specificity 96,4 %, PPV 93,8 %, NPV 94,3 %. These results suggested that DH is a more efficient method than TVS. We conclude that each TVS should be completed by DH.
Abstract (Original Language):
Elde edilen verilere göre TVS’nin sensitivitesi % 78,9, spesifisitesi % 88,6, pozitif prediktif değeri (PPD) % 76,9, negatif prediktif değeri (NPD) % 89,7; TH’nin sensitivitesi % 90,5, spesifisitesi % 96,4, PPD’i % 93,8, NPD’i % 94,3 bulunmuştur. Bu sonuçlara göre TH, TVS’ye göre daha etkindir. TVS’nin TH ile tamamlanması gerektiği sonucuna varıldı.
