Abstract (2. Language):
A monetary growth model in general is related to the effect of money on economic growth in an economy. Monetary growth models dwell on whether or not the alteration of money supply affects the value of real variables such as capital intensity (capital-labor ratio), growth rate, real wage, per capita consumption in or out steady state equilibrium. In the economics literature there are different views about how money supply growth rate increases affects sustainable growth. In this study, it is investigated how the monetary growth theories affects sustainable growth. It is understood that monetary expansion provides sustainable growth in Tobin and Papademos’ monetary growth models, doesn’t affect sustainable growth in Sidrauski model, affects sustainable growth negatively in Cooley and Hansen model and being unpredictable how that affects sustainable growth in Levhari-Patinkin model.
