Teacher effectiveness is one of prominent problem in educational researches. What is the characteristics of effective teacher? Could these characters be taught to others? Does the effectiveness a kind of character that is gained inborn or can it be acquired later? Educational researchers are dealing with these kind of questions for a long time. In this study, it has been tried to find some answers to these questions and it is resulted that most of the characteristics could be taught to teacher candidates.

Ögretmen etkililigi egitim arastirmalarinin basat problemlerinden biridir. Etkili ögretmenler ne tür özelliklere sahiptir? Bu özellikler baskalarina ögretilebilir mi? Etkililik dogustan getirilen bir özellik midir yoksa sonradan kazanilabilir mi? gibi sorular çok uzun bir zamandan beri egitim arastirmacilarini mesgul etmektedir. Bu çalismada bu tür sorulara cevap aranmis ve etkili ögretmenlerin sahip olduklari özelliklerin pek çogunun ögretmen adaylarina ögretilebilecegi sonucuna varilmistir.
