Abstract (2. Language):
The aim of this study is to determine the movements of temporomandibular joint by means of axiographic path tracings in the patients with Class I, Clas II and Class III malocclusion that have no TMJ complaints. The material of the study includes axiographic records of 15 individuals with Class I occlusion (7 female, 8 male), 15 individuals with Class II/1 occlusion (8 female, 7 male) and 15 individuals with class III occlusion (8 female, 7 male). The mean age of 23 girls were 17,3±2,3 years and the mean age of 22 boys were 18,1±3,3 years. The individuals included in the study were all in permanent dentition - had no orthodontic treatment -had no clicking and crepitation - had no sensitivity in condylar region and masticatory muscles - had no functional problems (hipermobility, incompetency during movement and deviation). In order to record the condylar path of the right and left condyles of the individuals, SAM III axiograph was used. Student's t test was used to determine sex differences between the groups. During the evaluation of the axiographic records, the mean of the right and left TMJ records of each individual was taken and variance and LSD analyses were done for a unique value.
In our study, it was found that the individuals
with Class III occlusion have less mean values
statistically than the individuals with Class I and
Class III occlusion for the length of protrusion and
length of opening-closing measurements.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, temporomandibuler ekle¬minde herhangi bir şikayeti olmayan Sınıf I, Sınıf II ve Sınıf III dişsel kapanışlı, bireylerde eklem ha¬reketlerinin aksiyografik kayıtlar ile değerlendirilmesidir. Çalışmanın materyalini dişsel Sınıf I oklüzyonlu 15 birey (7 kız , 8 erkek), Sınıf II /1 oklüzyonlu 15 birey (8 kız, 7 erkek) ve Sınıf III oklüzyonlu 15 bireyden (8 kız, 7 erkek) alınan aksiografik kayıtlar oluşturmaktadır.
