İŞİTME ÖZÜRLÜ ÇOCUKLARDA KODLAMA MEKANİZMALARININ (FONOLOJİK, GÖRSEL, SEMANTİK) İNCELENMESİ

Abstract (2. Language):
In this study different encoding mechanisms (phonological, visual, semantic) of hearing impaired children were investigated. The results were also analysed with respect to their language, reading and intelligence levels. It was found that older children and those with higher language, reading and intelligence levels employed mostly phonological encoding in contrast to younger children and those with lower language, reading and intelligence levels whotended to encode mostly visually. The results were also discussed from a developmental point of view.
