Publication Year:

Abstract (2. Language):
Kasabach-Merritt syndrome is a combination of rapidly enlar¬ging hemangioma, trombocytopenia and an acute or chronic consumption coagulopathy. There are a lot of choices of treatment in Kasabach-Merritt syndrome. In our case, we used radiotheraphy and corticosteroid treatment at lower doses than mentioned in the literature. The result we achieved by using lower doses of radiotheraphy and corticosteroids sup¬ports the idea that this could be the first choice of treatment.
