Abstract (2. Language): 
The most important problems encountered in the courses which are given by distance education methods are the lack of communication among the students and instructors. Nowadays, live courses are performed to eliminating interaction problems with web based seminar (WEBINAR) applications. In the Kocaeli University, a part of university elective courses are taught with distance education method as web based. In this study, the experience of live class application that performed is presented to improve interaction between instructors and students in electronic elective courses (EEC).

Uzaktan öğretim yöntemleri ile verilen derslerde karşılaşılan en önemli sorun eğitici ve öğrenciler arasında rastlanmakta olan iletişim problemleridir. Günümüzde bu problemlerin ortadan kaldırılması amacı ile Web tabanlı seminer (WEBİNAR) uygulamaları ile canlı dersler yapılmaktadır. Kocaeli Üniversitesinde, üniversite seçmeli derslerin bir kısmı web tabanlı olarak uzaktan öğretim yöntemi kullanılarak verilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Elektronik seçmeli derslerdeki (ESD) öğrenci ve eğitmen arasındaki iletişimi arttırmak için gerçekleştirilmiş olan canlı ders uygulamalarının kullanım deneyimi sunulmaktadır.
