Abstract (2. Language):
In this article, minimization of stock costs in businesses is examined. For this
purpose, minimization of total stock costs is targeted through minimizing stock holding costs
by using dynamic programming approach. For this reason, initially general dynamic
programming model and Wagner-Whitin resolution algorithm are introduced. Then, the
model, devoloped in computer environment using the data collected from the production
company chosen for application, is solved by Wagner-Whitin algorithm. Finally, stock
planning solutions of using the experiences of the company and Wagner-Whitin algorithm are
compared and the difference betweeen the solutions is sustained.

Bu makalede işletmelerde stok maliyetlerini enazlama konusu incelenmiştir. Bu
amaçla, dinamik programlama yaklaşımıyla elde bulundurma maliyetleri en düşük tutularak
toplam stok maliyetinin enazlanması hedeflenmiştir. Bu nedenle öncelikle genel dinamik
programlama modeli ve Wagner-Whitin çözüm algoritması tanıtılmıştır. Daha sonra,
uygulama için seçilen üretim işletmesinden toplanan veriler kullanılarak bilgisayar ortamında
geliştirilen model, Wagner-Whitin algoritması ile çözülmüştür. Son olarak, işletmenin
deneyimleri ve Wagner-Whitin algoritması kullanılarak elde edilen stok planlama çözümleri
karşılaştırılmış ve çözümler arasındaki fark ortaya konulmuştur.
