The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of teacher candidates' personality types on their attitudes and beliefs towards classroom management. The research has been prepared according to the scanning model. Totally of 297 teacher candidates participated in the research. In the research, the Keirsey Temperament Sorter II Scale is used to collect data and the Attitude and Belief Inventory is used for classroom control. For the general of the scales the Cronbach Alpha Reliability Coefficients have been found as 0.76 and 0.90. In data analysis, beside descriptive statistics, Chi-square test, Pearson correlation coefficient and the eta square effect size coefficient are used. The most important results obtained at the end of the research are as follows: in terms of personality types it has been determined that the teacher candidates mostly have guardianspersonality type; this is followed by idealists, artisans, and rationals. Teacher candidates' attitudes and beliefs towards classroom management have been found high both in the general of the scale and in dimensions of education management, person management and behavior management. While the levels of teacher candidates 'attitudes and beliefs towards classroom management change according to personality types, positive low, medium and high level relationships have been found between teacher candidates’ personality types and their attitudes and beliefs towards classroom management. Abstract (Original Language):
