Abstract (2. Language):
Nuck canal cyst is a cystic pathology of the inguinal region formed as a result of the defective closure of the processus vaginalis in females. Two cystic masses of 3x3 and 3x2 cm were detected at the groin region of two female cases with ages of 5 and 3 years old, respectively, and the patients were operated with the initial diagnosis of sliding hernia. Histopathological examination of the cystic masses in both the patients revealed the diagnosis of Nuck canal cyst. A review of literature was herein made presenting these two cases diagnosed to have Nuck canal cyst.
Abstract (Original Language):
Nuck kanal kisti, kız çocuklarında prosesus vaginalisin kapanma defekti sonucu oluşan inguinal bölgenin kistik bir patolojisidir. Sağ kasık bölgesinde şişlik nedeniyle getirilen 5 ve 3 yaşlarında iki kız olgunun yapılan fizik muayenelerinde sırası ile 3x3 cm ve 3x2 cm boyutlarında kistik kitleler tespit edildi ve olgular “sliding” herni ön tanısıyla opere edildi. Her iki olguya ait kistik kitlelerin histopatolojik inceleme sonucu Nuck kanal kisti olarak rapor edildi. Nuck kanal kisti saptanan bu iki olgu sunularak literatür bilgisi gözden geçirilmiştir.
